Why
Useful calculations should be checkable
Many online calculators return a number without showing enough information to verify it. Newlii publishes the formula, variables, units, assumptions and a worked example beside each result so you can check whether the estimate fits your situation.
The first release covers conveyor and pulley speed, installed and rolled belt length, SEO traffic and revenue forecasting, content revenue efficiency and solar savings. More tools and paid products will be added gradually, after their output, sources, delivery terms and limitations can be reviewed on the site.

What we are not
Things we deliberately do not do
Each of these is a choice, not a gap in a roadmap.
- We do not publish testimonials, customer logos or review scores. We have no verified customers to quote yet, and inventing them would undermine everything else on this site.
- We do not currently sell a subscription or paid download.
- We do not sell your data or run a lead-generation funnel on top of free tools. There is no email wall on a calculator.
- We do not present planned databases, agents or reports as available inventory.
- We do not claim that an estimate replaces engineering, financial or supplier review.
Editorial standards
How content on this site is written
Applied to every page, not just the ones that read like editorial.
Every page answers a question someone actually asks. Where a page makes a strong claim, the evidence sits next to it. Numbers carry their basis — a record count comes with a coverage figure and a date, never on its own.
Tool pages are dated, and their formulas and examples are updated together so the explanation cannot silently drift away from the implemented calculation.
Nothing on this site was written to fill a word count. Where we do not have the information, the page says so instead of writing around it.
